Wat Mahathat, Phitsanulok, Thailand. Wat Mahathat (or Wat Yai) is the main temple of the Thai province Phitsanulok. I visit this temple regularly… The Buddha inside the temple is considered to be one of the most beautiful in Thailand, and even in the whole world. This was where the famous Thai singer Pumpuang Duangjan came to pray before she passed away - a wish she had wished for, for a very long time.
